Gispo Oy
Gispo services are targeted to those who need to learn to use Open Source Software (e.g. QGIS, PostGIS, GeoServer) and analyze and understand geospatial data.
Gispo provides basic and advanced level training, online support, consultation and development services for open source geospatial tools.
Open source geospatial tools are free to use and cost effective. With Gispos services it is easy to start experimenting with a desktop software (QGIS) and create beautiful maps. There is always a possibility to level up to full scale information management system with database (PostGIS) and API services (GeoServer).

| Build Environment | Gispo has created open source tools for e.g. calculating the best investment hot spots in a city, creating land use plans, maintaining and monitoring the infrastructure assets, landmasses or wastes and we have created geodesic calculation tools for cities use. These tools can be further developed or we can create something entirely new. The tools are built mainly with QGIS and PostGIS. |
| Transportation and Logistics | Gispo provides training and development of several useful tools or plugins. QGIS plugin called Catchment helps in calculating the service areas for points of interest (e.g. schools, services) using OpenStreetMap routes. With QField we can manage traffic information signs in the field. Or you can pin point your list of addresses to a map with QGIS Digitransit plugin. We can also help to calculate the optimal routes for e.g. snow plowing vehicles. |
| Health and Wellbeing | We are eager to contribute to local travelling and what is travelling without a map? Gispo offers an open source mobile map solution using open data sources for outdoor activities. This solution can be used by regional travel agencies or companies. |
